WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Here are some FAQs to help you out…

After you become a Quest family member, we ensure that you are supported at every step of your way to success. Here are more advantages of Quest membership:

  • Taking care of all the backend essentials such as invoicing, deducting applied charges, internal communications and other administration activities.
  • Monthly home visits to ensure your daycare space is upholding all the required regulations.
  • Continuous advice and guidance with children and learning programs, along with provision of play sessions, resources and professional development.
  • Access to ongoing training and resources along with a network of other educators to learn from and grow with.
  • Personal support – you can reach us by phone for help with things like last-minute enrolments, payment queries, or relief so you can go on a well-deserved break.
  • Financial support – if you need help with the initial setup of your home, assistance with securing car capsules or other things along the way, if we can’t help you directly, we will point you in the right direction.

If you have 4 children in your care, for 5 days a week, you can expect to make in excess of $2,000 – even after the Parent Levy has been paid to the provider. Of course, your ROI (return of investment) can increase depending on the hours you want to work – and that is the beauty of this business. You choose what you would like to make, the fees you want to charge your families, and if you want to work weekends or keep them for yourself – you are the boss!

Just like any other business opportunities, you will need to make some investments in your Family day care business. These costs can include required documentation including clearances, permits, resources and safety measures, the cost of your qualification, the costs to safety-proof and set up your home, etc. However, as your family daycare provider, Quest will never cost you a cent. The only fee we charge is an industry-standard Parent Levy of $2.00 per/hour, which is billed directly to the parents – we will never charge you a registration fee or take a percentage of your ongoing income like other family daycare providers do.  To help you start budgeting, here is a handy list of everything you will need to complete to get started – and it should only take you an hour!

The first step is to book a visit so we can make sure your home is suitable. This is free and there is no obligation to continue. You can book here:
